Rottnest Island Authority selects L7 Managed Solutions!

The governing body that looks after WA's number one holiday destination, the Rottnest Island Authority (RIA), has selected L7 as their Managed Services partner for all their level 1, 2 and 3 IT support across their newly implemented network and systems architecture. The cornerstone of the Managed Service involves L7's hosted real time infrastructure and application monitoring solution, whereby reactive and predictive performance analysis is conducted on a 24x7 basis across all IT components. This solution is integrated directly within the L7 service desk - providing RIA with operational peace of mind.
The tendering process was rigorous and involved many submissions from key suppliers in WA - but L7 was awarded the contract in September 2006. This was on the back of the successful "all of business" technology upgrade that RIA awarded to L7 late 2005. The project saw the migration of RIA from Novell to Windows, SOE deployment, Notes to Exchange and a complete security/network upgrade across the entire infrastructure base.
