Australian Technical College Sign 2 Year Managed Service Contract

The Australian Technical College (ATC) Perth today signed a 2 year contract with L7 Managed Services. This is a significant win for L7, who after conducting the initial assessment of ATC's IT environment provided recommendations to provide a solid foundation upon which ATC could base future expansion and development. From the assessment findings a series of projects was undertaken, on subsequent completion the environment was handed over to the L7 Managed Service division.
The ATC opted for L7's Fixed Price Managed Service model where other than agreed project work, all IT services are provided to the college for a single monthly figure.
Glenn McAtee GM of L7 Managed Services commented "by opting for a Fixed Price Solution ATC transfered all IT risk and vulnerabilities onto L7, with unlimited helpdesk hours and onsite maintenance. L7 can not only mitigate costs for ATC, but if an incident were to occur, L7 could actively reduced downtime and outages through its 24/7 monitoring, guaranteed resolution times and service level agreements.
“L7 has a great knowledge of our network and provides us with access to technicians who are aware of the specific systems and technologies we use at the college. We do not have an in-house IT professional so we rely on L7 to address IT related issues, experienced by both ATC staff and students, on a day to day basis. L7 have always been quick to respond to our concerns and I have been impressed with the high quality customer service they have provided.”
