Murdoch University engage L7

Murdoch University and L7 Solutions have entered into a multi million dollar Cisco contract to upgrade the entire network infrastructure of the West Australian university. The contract spanning three years will provide the university with the ability to embrace new innovating technologies inline with Murdoch's strategic direction as a leading force in Education and Research in Australia.

Discovery is the motivating ethos operating within the community of the “Intelligent University” so when it became evident that they needed to make a considerable investment in changing their 3000-user IT infrastructure, it was critical the right choice of partner be made. The chosen partner had to understand, share and compliment the University’s vision for the future as well as be in a position to offer the best IT solution; L7 Solutions was the partner of choice. A further component of the partnership is L7’s involvement with the Murdoch sponsorship program which assists talented students reach their academic potential.

L7 Managing Director, Matt Sullivan is excited about the partnership. “Until recently our credentials have been earned in the government and corporate sectors while waiting for the right opportunity, within the education market, to demonstrate L7’s capacity. The Murdoch campus-wide conversion of the University’s data centre and campus infrastructure from outdated systems and technology to state-of-the-art, best of breed Cisco technology is a great opportunity for L7 to demonstrate what we are capable of. We were also able to demonstrate the strength of our relationship with Cisco Systems which was pivotal to being able to deliver the right solution for the University”.
